Timeline
Version 1.0.6
The timeline, or series of dates at the top of the grid, determines the number of columns in the grid and is controlled by setting a start date, end date, and interval length. Unlike Excel or Sheets, Parfera understands the relationship between intervals and allows users to toggle between months, quarters, and years.
The timeline controls are found above the row name column at the top-left of the grid and include three controls:
-
Start date defines the first column of the model.
-
End date defines the last column of the model.
-
Interval sets the granularity of each column of the model and can be adjusted at any point between Yearly, Quarterly, and Monthly.
Version 1.0.6
Parfera has a dynamic timeline, meaning that the timeline can be changed at any time between Yearly, Quarterly, or Monthly intervals and the model will automatically recalculate to match. This feature is called interpolation.
